The New Site Royals waltzed into Friday's matchup with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Thrasher 57-25 at home. New Site might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 25 points or more this season.
New Site was led to victory by Brooklyn Hodum and Chloe Chism. Hodum scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals, while Chism scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Chism has scored at least 25% of New Site's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleigh Knight, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
New Site's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Thrasher, the last time they won on the road was back on Tuesday. Having now lost four straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 3-5.
New Site will challenge Kossuth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thrasher, they will be playing at home against Wheeler at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
