Connor Murphy posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Mission San Jose back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Murphy has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
