The Community Christian Cyclones stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They breezed by Varsity Opponent on the road to the tune of 75-41. The victory was nothing new for Community Christian as they're now sitting on 17 straight.
Community Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cameron Harris, who scored 19 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Kovach, who scored 11 points along with five assists and three steals.
Community Christian's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.6 points per game. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 342-1223-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Community Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Spartan at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. Christ Covenant is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to challenge the Lions at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
