After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Amphitheater, ALA - Queen Creek was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over the Tanque Verde Hawks. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead ALA - Queen Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brailyn Clouse, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Grace Cody was another key player, putting up 11 points and four steals.

ALA - Queen Creek was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.

ALA - Queen Creek moved to 2-10 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Tanque Verde, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

ALA - Queen Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-44 loss against Baboquivari on the 28th. As for Tanque Verde, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Phoenix Christian at 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
