Central had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jonesboro Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Central found their leader in sophomore Julianna Johnston, who had 12 digs and four aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 33-9. As for Jonesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 22-17.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Starr's Mill at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
