The Eastside Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. Their rough 63-43 loss to Winder-Barrow might stick with them for a while. Eastside has struggled against the Bulldoggs recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Eastside lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trebor Edwards. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Edwards is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Larry Rivers, who scored eight points.
Eastside's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Winder-Barrow, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.
Eastside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Winder-Barrow will head out on the road to square off against the Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loganville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Bulldoggs are ranked 34th).
