The Whale Branch Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 80-46 win over Branchville. The win was a breath of fresh air for Whale Branch as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Whale Branch's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bradford Thompson, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Thompson hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Tony Broxton jr was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The victory got Whale Branch back to even at 8-8. As for Branchville, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Bamberg-Ehrhardt the next time they take the court. Whale Branch will head out to face Bamberg-Ehrhardt at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Branchville will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
