Leading Hamilton to victory were Jamyah Minnis and Amare Boothe. Minnis dropped a triple-double on 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 steals, while Boothe shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a triple-double on 41 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Boothe has scored at least a third of Hamilton's points. Another player making a difference was Zanaiyah Woods, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Power Center Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Kirby the next time they take the court. Hamilton will host Kirby at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Power Center Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
