Dunmore made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Riverside, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bucks blew past the Vikings 12-2 on Wednesday. Considering the Bucks have won seven contests by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jamie McMynne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. McMynne was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news, Dunmore let  Bobby Hoban and  Anthony Yerka run wild. Hoban  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances, while  Yerka  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. Hoban also put up a  triple, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Matt Iezzi, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
Dunmore pushed their record up to 8-1 with the  victory, which was their eighth straight  at home dating back to last season. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Riverside,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at four games  and leaves them with a 5-2 record.
 Coincidentally, Dunmore and Riverside will both be playing Lakeland the next time they take the field. The Bucks will  host the Chiefs at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday, while the Vikings will  host them  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
