The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.4 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 47-7 win over Trinity Classical Academy on the road. With Capistrano Valley Christian ahead 27-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
JP Synnott had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 184 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also caught a touchdown. Max Krosky also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Capistrano Valley Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capistrano Valley Christian will take on Arrowhead Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arrowhead Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
