The Osceola Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Osceola had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Tarpon Springs on Friday. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Spongers a 15-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Theresa Diez made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Jenna Neupaver was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Brooke Hall also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Osceola hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Palm Harbor University came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Crusaders as they made off with a 12-2 victory.
Palm Harbor University let Mylie Stout and Ainsley Berard run wild. Stout scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Berard scored two runs while going 3-for-3. Brooklyn Conrad was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Osceola pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Palm Harbor University, their record now sits at 14-4.
Osceola's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's matchup. The Warriors have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Palm Harbor University, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Osceola continue to outrun the ball?
Osceola couldn't quite finish off Palm Harbor University in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 and fell 11-9. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
