The Gulliver Prep Raiders the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome the Schoolhouse Prep Wolfpack at 5:00  p.m.  on January 27th. Gulliver Prep will be strutting in after a  victory while Schoolhouse Prep will be coming in after a  defeat.
 On Thursday, Gulliver Prep escaped with a win against NSU University by the margin of a single free throw,  46-45.
 Gulliver Prep can attribute much of their success to   Caitlen Dauphin, who  dropped  a double-double on 13 points and 13  rebounds, and   Mikayla Brown, who  scored 20 points along with five  assists and two  steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which  Brown has scored at least a third of Gulliver Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nicole Quevedo, who  scored six points along with three  steals.
 Meanwhile, Schoolhouse Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Monday as they fell  58-54 to Mater Lakes Academy.
 Gulliver Prep's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Schoolhouse Prep, they have  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
 Everything went Gulliver Prep's way against Schoolhouse Prep when the teams last played  back in January of 2020 as Gulliver Prep made off with a  65-45 win. Will Gulliver Prep repeat their success,  or does  Schoolhouse Prep have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
