The Milledgeville Missiles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 17th straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 54-40 to Dakota. Milledgeville has struggled against Dakota recently, as their game on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Madison Binder had an outrageously good game for Dakota as she dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Kerchner, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Milledgeville's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-21. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.2 points per game. As for Dakota, their victory bumped their record up to 12-18.
