After a string of three wins, Clear Lake's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Crestwood 27-40. Clear Lake were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Crestwood apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Clear Lake's record to 4-2. The win got Crestwood back to even at 3-3.
Clear Lake will look to defend their home turf next week against Forest City at 7:30 PM. Clear Lake have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Forest City are surely hoping to exploit. As for Crestwood, they will face off against New Hampton. Those two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
