The Red Bank Catholic Caseys can now show off 19 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Sunday. They really took it to Albertus Magnus for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-39 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Red Bank Catholic who now have three in a row.
Leading Red Bank Catholic to victory were Addy Nyemchek and Tessa Carman. Nyemchek dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Carman almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Carman scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Liggio, who scored 14 points.
Red Bank Catholic has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. As for Albertus Magnus, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-2.
Red Bank Catholic will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Life Center Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 22nd. Albertus Magnus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
