If John Paul the Great Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Brighton, they should've done a better job of containing Jesslyn Breaux. The Bengals took down the Guardians 54-38 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Breaux, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 12 boards. She also grabbed six steals, which is notable because Brighton is 5-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 1-4 otherwise.

Sophie Caruso was another key player, going 5-for-6 to rack up 10 points and six steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

Brighton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points on average over those games.
