University looks to establish their home field advantage on Friday as they take on Gonzaga Prep at 7:00 PM. University aren't expected to win, but seeing as the odds didn't stop them last game, maybe the team has another upset up their sleeve.
University didn't have too many spare points in their contest with Post Falls last week, but they still walked away with a 43-37 victory. The success made it back-to-back wins for University.
Gonzaga Prep had a rough outing against Coeur d'Alene two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Gonzaga Prep got past St. Ignatius with less than a touchdown to spare, ending up at 42-37.
Their wins bumped University to 2-0 and Gonzaga Prep to 1-1. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
