Cookeville will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Livingston Academy in at 7:00 PM.
Cookeville had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Friday, they lost to Upperman by a decisive 7-23 margin.
Meanwhile, Livingston Academy took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered White County 35-0.
Livingston Academy's lifted them to 1-0 while Cookeville's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Livingston Academy can add another positive mark to their record or if Cookeville can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Livingston Academy's step.
