Basketball Recap: Waukon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Waukon had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took down the New Hampton Chickasaws 67-52. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Waukon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for New Hampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waukon will take on Caledonia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Caledonia will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Waukon surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Hampton, they will square off against Decorah-North Winneshiek at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
