The Boyd Yellowjackets will head out on the road to face off against the Peaster Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Boyd is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Two weeks ago, Boyd didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pilot Point, but they still walked away with a 27-21 victory.
Braden Mcintire was the offensive standout of the game as he threw for 237 yards and three touchdowns. Will Mcintire also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Peaster never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed by Pilot Point on the road to the tune of 38-0. Considering Peaster has won three matchups by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Boyd's victory bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Peaster, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Boyd came up short against Peaster when the teams last played back in November of 2022, falling 25-20. Can Boyd avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
