The Ridgeview Ravens will head out on the road to face off against the Redmond Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Ridgeview and four for Redmond.
Ridgeview pushed their score all the way to 34 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 41-34 to Bend.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Adam Millington, who threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns. Ishon Ortiz also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Redmond fell victim to Caldera's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 20-0 defeat to the might stick with them for a while.
Ridgeview's loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.7 points per game. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Ridgeview didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Redmond in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 19-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ridgeview since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
