Shiocton had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 14-20 to Tomahawk. Shiocton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game, as Tomahawk apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time they met. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Shiocton off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Tomahawk a 1-0 record.
Next week, Shiocton take on Rosholt at 7:00 PM. As for Tomahawk, they will face of against Rhinelander.
