Volleyball Recap: DMLK Finds Home Court Redemption Against Lincoln

There's no place like home for DMLK, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Lincoln Lancers 3-0 on Thursday. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st (when they won 3-0).

DMLK walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-15.

Israel Anulo paced DMLK's offense, picking up four kills. Anulo got some help from Romeo Johnny and his seven assists. Johnny was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

DMLK's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. DMLK is set to face off against their familiar foe DSST: Conservatory Green at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln will challenge rival KIPP Denver Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
