The Unity Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Webster Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Unity is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Unity beat Spring Valley 48-42. Given Unity's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Spring Valley is ranked 97th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even though Frederic scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Webster still came out on top. Webster managed a 61-56 win over Frederic. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Webster.
Ian Mcfaggen was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Webster's points. Another player making a difference was Ronald Hatch, who scored 8 points along with 3 steals.
Their wins bumped Unity to 4-0 and Spring Valley to 3-2.
Everything went Unity's way against Webster in their previous matchup back in February as Unity made off with a 86-64 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Unity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
