Union Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. On Friday, they were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 22-26 to River Oaks. If Union Christian Academy were hoping for some payback for the 6-20 loss against River Oaks the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Union Christian Academy off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving River Oaks a 1-0 record.
Next week, Union Christian Academy take on Benton Academy . As for River Oaks, they will face of against East Rankin Academy.
