A Season-Best  Effort from  Shane Marshall Leads Irwin County over Charlton County
 On Friday, Irwin County got the W thanks in part to  Shane Marshall playing the best football he has all season. Marshall rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 The  win for Irwin County keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Marshall and Irwin County will be playing in front of their home fans against Clinch County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Jason Jackson and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
  Jason Jackson's big game helped extend Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jackson rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This season,  Jackson  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 89.4 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 39.29  rushing yards per game.

Junior Burrus Turns in Season-Best  Effort
 Brooks County was led to victory by  Junior Burrus, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Burrus threw for 280 yards and six touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. He has become a key player for Brooks County: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  three  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
 Brooks County's win was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-3. Burrus and Brooks County will be playing at home against Lanier County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.

Curtis Grant Goes Supernova in Turner County Victory
 Turner County's seven-game losing streak  dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to  Curtis Grant. Grant was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 196 yards while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
 Turner County's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Grant and Turner County will face off against Crawford County at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Big Game from Snyder As Irwin County Won 64-34
  Luke Snyder was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Snyder was dynamite, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, while also throwing for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.
 For the year,  Snyder  has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 16.43  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 45.29  rushing yards.
