The Crossroad Academy Scorpions and the Bozeman Bucks will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Crossroad Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Crossroad Academy took a serious blow against Florida State University High School, falling 64-27. While losing is never fun, Crossroad Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 605th, while Florida State University High School is ranked 191st).
Even though Bozeman has not done well against Port St. Joe recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bozeman strolled past Port St. Joe with points to spare, taking the game 35-20. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bozeman.
Crossroad Academy's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7. As for Bozeman, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
