Southlake Carroll has gone a perfect 3-0 against Northwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Southlake Carroll Dragons will head out to face off against the Northwest Texans at 6:30 p.m. Southlake Carroll will be strutting in after a win while Northwest will be coming in after a defeat.

Southlake Carroll will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Tuesday, then bounced right back against V.R. Eaton on Friday. Southlake Carroll blew past V.R. Eaton 6-0. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to Keller Central. While losing is never fun, the Texans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 363rd, while the Chargers are ranked 36th).

Southlake Carroll pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Southlake Carroll's way against Northwest when the teams last played back in January, as Southlake Carroll made off with a 9-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southlake Carroll since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
