Softball Recap: Seabreeze Wins Going Away Against Titusville

Seabreeze won the last time they faced Titusville and things went their way on Friday too. Seabreeze was the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Titusville. The Sandcrabs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Seabreeze got a massive performance out of Brier Kelly, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Those three runs gave Kelly a new career-high. Ariannah Harris was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Seabreeze always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .630. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Seabreeze is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. Titusville is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seabreeze will square off against Central Florida Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Titusville, they will challenge Astronaut at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
