The Dora Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Oakman 45-40. Dora has struggled against Oakman recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Waldrop, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Williams, who scored 13 points.
It was another big night for Rick Johnson, who scored 25 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals for Oakman. That makes it five consecutive games in which Johnson has scored at least 25% of Oakman's points. Another player making a difference was Trenton Warren, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
Dora's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Oakman, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dora will stay at home for another game and welcome Northside at 4:30 p.m. on December 11th. Oakman will take on Carbon Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
