That makes it three consecutive games in which Bradley has scored at least a third of Meade County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Rider, who posted six points in addition to six boards and five assists.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Breckinridge County on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Muhlenberg County out of the water with a 68-24 final score. The Fighting Tigers pushed the score to 59-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs had no chance of recovering from.
Breckinridge County's win came from a few key players Meade County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Adelynn Moorman, who went 8 of 11from beyond the arc on her way to 26 points and four steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Grimes, who went 7 of 14 on her way to 21 points and three steals.
Meade County's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Breckinridge County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Meade County has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Breckinridge County struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
