Cupertino can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 49-10 win over Mills. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Cupertino's six-point performance the match before.
Shen Hernandez-ong went supernova for Cupertino, rushing for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, while also throwing for 65 yards and a touchdown. Cupertino also got a significant boost from Arvin Hosseini, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 84 yards.
Meanwhile, Monta Vista fell victim to South San Francisco's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Warriors, falling 44-0. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, Monta Vista couldn't push the score so high this time.
Cupertino's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Monta Vista, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
