The West Scranton Invaders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scranton Prep Cavaliers at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 On Monday, West Scranton narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Valley View  2-1. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for West Scranton.

 On the hitting side, West Scranton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Marc Russo, who  went 2-for-2 with a  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  John Grasso, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
 Meanwhile, Scranton Prep made easy work of Scranton  on Monday and carried off  a  13-1 victory. With that  win, Scranton Prep brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.
  Blake Decker was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matt Kalinowski, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 West Scranton is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record  this season. As for Scranton Prep,  the  victory  got them back to even at 7-7.
