After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garces Memorial, Ridgeview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Centennial Golden Hawks 2-1. This was payback for the Wolf Pack, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ridgeview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Martin Castro, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Ridgeview's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Centennial, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-2 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will venture away from home to take on Frontier at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to face off against Clovis West at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Centennial 1.4, Clovis West 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
