St. Thomas More won against Sacred Heart on Saturday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. St. Thomas More's pitchers stepped up to hand the Albany Hornets a 15-0 shutout. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

St. Thomas More pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Albany, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Thomas More will welcome Rayne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albany, they will square off against St. James at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. St. James has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.73 runs per game on average), something Albany will no doubt try to take advantage of.
