Sadly, the EPIC Academy The Legends are still looking for their first win of the season after 16 games. They took a serious blow against Shepard on Monday, falling 71-28. EPIC Academy has not had much luck with Shepard recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, EPIC Academy still got an impressive performance from Antwan Donley, who scored 14 points.
EPIC Academy dropped their record down to 0-16 with that defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Shepard, their win bumped their record up to 8-21.
EPIC Academy will head out on the road to face off against Jones at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shepard, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Kennedy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Shepard surely won't give up without a fight.
