In what's become a running theme this season, the Crosspoint Warriors gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 51-7 victory over Summit Classical Christian School. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-2.
Crosspoint was led to victory by Riya Tobosa and Momoyo Iwata. Tobosa dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds, while Iwata scored six points along with seven steals and five assists. Tobosa is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katy Kuske, who scored six points along with four steals.
Crosspoint has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Summit Classical Christian School, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Crosspoint will look to defend their home court on Monday against Rainier Christian at 5:30 p.m. Rainier Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Crosspoint is ranked 50th). Summit Classical Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
