The Memorial Chargers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Will Rogers College by a score of 55-47. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Memorial has managed all season.
Memorial can attribute much of their success to Mataya Hall, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Nalani Gouyd , who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Memorial's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Will Rogers College, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Memorial will head out on the road to face off against Nathan Hale at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Will Rogers College will be home for the holidays to greet Holland Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
