Wamego was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  2-0  on Tuesday.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-18,  25-12.
 Lexi Hecht paced Wamego's offense, picking up seven kills. Hecht got some help from  Kennedy Flynn and her five assists.  Ryann Langvardt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Wamego's loss dropped their record down to 14-19. As for Rock Creek, the  win was  the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-4.
 Looking ahead, Wamego will take on Louisburg at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 16th. As for Rock Creek, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Marysville  at 5:15  p.m.
