The third road match was the charm for Seward, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the Beatrice Orangemen on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bluejays also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2023.
Brycen Burt made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits (and only one walk). Burt was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
