Reed Point/Rapelje and the Rockets are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades will play host again and welcome the Roberts Rockets, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Reed Point/Rapelje focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Reed Point/Rapelje came up short against the Huskies and fell 43-32.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ben Broyles, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Axel Blodgett, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Roberts walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 62-44 victory over the Falcons on Saturday. The victory was just what Roberts needed coming off of a 73-49 loss in their prior contest.
Reed Point/Rapelje dropped their record down to 3-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Roberts, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
