Alchesay is 0-7 against Snowflake since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Falcons will square off against the Lobos at 2:30 p.m. Alchesay has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Alchesay lost 17-2 to Holbrook on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly 15 runs.
Danil Joe led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Madison Cosay was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.
Meanwhile, Snowflake was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over Blue Ridge. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lobos.
Kashlynn Cantrell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, Addie Coor was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with three runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Kinslee Claridge, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Snowflake kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive games.
Snowflake now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Alchesay, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12-2.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Alchesay hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .359. However, it's not like Snowflake struggles in that department as they've averaged .360. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Alchesay suffered a grim 23-4 defeat to Snowflake in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
