Marionville strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Skyline Tigers 36-6. Given the Comets' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Tigers are ranked 271st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bryer Guerin had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 163 yards and three scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.

Marionville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Skyline, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Marionville will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diamond at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to square off against Lathrop at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
