It was another big night for Skyla Wunder, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals. She has been hot, having posted five or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordynn Speckner, who posted eight points and four steals.
Lingle-Fort Laramie smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Niobrara County didn't have too much trouble with HEM on Friday as they won 39-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.
Niobrara County's win came from a few key players Lingle-Fort Laramie will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaci Vetter, who scored ten points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gracie ZumBrunnen, who earned nine points and seven boards.
Niobrara County pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, their record is now 9-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Lingle-Fort Laramie has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.8 rebounds per game.
