The Owatonna Huskies won the last time they faced the Austin Packers, and things went their way on Friday too. Owatonna simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Packers 76-42 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Owatonna.
Owatonna's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maryn Pool, who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pool has scored all season. Morgan Fisher was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Owatonna has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.
Owatonna will head out on the road to take on the Winhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Faribault has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
