Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, Pa.).
Coatesville scored on an
Isaiah Flamer touchdown run, a touchdown run by Flamer and a touchdown pass by
Charles Hamilton to
Jay Stocker in the quarter.
After taking the lead on an Flamer touchdown run in the first quarter, CHS led 27-6 at the half.
The Red Raiders grew their lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. Coatesville scored once in the quarter on a
Jordan Young touchdown run.
With the win CHS extended its winning streak to five games. Coatesville defeated Avon Grove 42-13 last week.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Red Raiders came away with a 42-21 victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Bishop Shanahan, who notched a 42-21 victory over East in its previous outing. The loss ended Bishop Shanahan's three-game winning streak.
Bishop Shanahan (3-1) will play a Ches-Mont - National game against Henderson next week, while Coatesville (5-0) will take on Downingtown East also in a Ches-Mont - National game.
