It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Central Lyon/George-Little Rock Lions had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 victory over Spirit Lake. Central Lyon/George-Little Rock's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Central Lyon/George-Little Rock's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Spirit Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-2.
Central Lyon/George-Little Rock is on the road again on Friday and play against Van Meter at 10:00 a.m. on November 17th. Van Meter knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 contests -- so hopefully Central Lyon/George-Little Rock likes a good challenge. Spirit Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
