Rumson-Fair Haven had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Keansburg Titans on Thursday as they made off with a 14-2 win. Mia Missig made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
