The Mt. Shasta Bears will head out on the road to face off against the Trinity Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Mt. Shasta lost to Willows on the road by a decisive 33-14 margin. Mt. Shasta has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Trinity had to settle for a 16-14 loss against Hamilton on Friday. Trinity gained 52 more yards on the day, but it was Hamilton that made the best of use of them.
Trinity's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Miller Brown, who rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and Tyler Nagle who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Mt. Shasta has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Trinity, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
