The Oldenburg Academy Twisters will face off against the Hauser Jets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Oldenburg Academy's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Milan as they made off with a 6-0 win. That's two games straight that the Twisters have won by exactly six runs.
Zach Hoff made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Adam Weber was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Oldenburg Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-5 when he doesn't).
Meanwhile, Hauser entered their tilt with Eastern Hancock on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Royals 8-2. The Jets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on R.J. Foster, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Kameron Blair was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Hauser pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Oldenburg Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Everything went Oldenburg Academy's way against Hauser in their previous matchup back in May of 2021, as Oldenburg Academy made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Twisters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Jets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
